Move to Our New Facilities

Our need for more space is over! Thanks to countless donations, we were able to move into our new facility January 2012.

The Way Back House was founded in 1973 by citizens who were concerned that persons returning to Dallas from prison needed opportunities to avoid returning to crime and incarceration. The Way Back House operated halfway house facilities from 1974 to 2011, and now provide some of the same opportunities in a non-residential format: a reentry service center.

The Way Back Re-Entry Center offers employment and housing assistance and other related services and support.

All clients of The Way Back House are voluntary. We offer a "hand up" not a "hand out."

Support for this new Way Back House initiative is support for a better individual and a better community.
